Oh ok!  Let’s do this!

1. I live in FL, but was born in CA and raised in LA. I have also lived in WA, NM, and MS. 

2. I am terrified of wasps. Terrified. Terrified. Did I say terrified?

3.  In Louisiana, I worked as a cook in a Cajun restaurant. I still make a lot of the dishes. My favorite is crawfish etoufee. And I make a mean red beans and rice.

4. I have a twelve year old son who is taller than I am. And I’m not very short.

5. I have been in the mortgage business for seven years and have been laid off due to lack of work (especially after the bubble burst) many times, but have always managed to find a job in the same field. I am very lucky.

6. As much as a fangirl as I am, I never turn on the TV during the week. I only watch certain recorded shows on the weekends. I really don’t know why I pay for cable.

7. I have almost 200 paperback romance novels stacked against a wall in my bedroom. I don’t know why I hoard them, as I rarely read the same book twice. And since I discovered slash, I haven’t read a het romance in almost two years (well, since Sherlock).

8. I was vegan for 11 months and recently fell off the wagon.

9. My middle name is Martin, and my sister’s middle name is Frederick. I don’t know what my parents were thinking.

10. Since I am eating one right now, I will tell you that my favorite fruit are Red Delicious apples. I won’t eat any other. There is nothing better than a cold apple and a hot cup of coffee.
